Gloat and The Josh Bersin Company today announced a partnership that puts the Galileo research corpus – the best practices, frameworks, and benchmarks behind the world’s most trusted HR advisory practice – directly inside Loomra, the Workforce Context Engine that powers Gloat’s Agentic HR platform. Every Gloat agent can now reason with Bersin’s guidance and a company’s live workforce context at the same moment, then act on both, governed by the field-level permissions that sensitive HR work demands.
The combination pairs the world’s leading HR advisor with an HR system of action, so expert guidance and the means to act on it live in the same place. For HR teams, that is expertise they already trust, applied to their own workforce context and within their own guardrails.
From Frameworks to Finished Work
Every HR leader is being asked what they are doing with AI. Answering that well takes two things at once: a clear view of what best-in-class HR looks like, and a way to act on it at scale for the specific needs of their organization.
The Galileo Inside Gloat integration delivers both inside a single agent platform. Ask a succession agent to build a plan for a critical role: Galileo supplies the Bersin Company succession framework and readiness criteria, while Loomra scans the workforce by skills, career trajectory, and mobility history. What comes back is an informed plan of action – a ranked slate, the readiness gap on each candidate, the development moves that close it, and monitoring that resurfaces the plan when status changes.
The same layer absorbs the everyday work. Employees and managers get policy, benefits, and “how do I” questions answered in the flow of work. Performance reviews, goal setting, compensation planning, and onboarding run with Gloat agents chasing inputs, drafting first passes, and surfacing the exceptions that need a human. And the strategic questions – skills gaps, succession readiness, internal sourcing, redeployment – are answered in minutes using the same data and contextualized HR best practices.
The AI Layer on Top of SAP SuccessFactors
Thousands of the world’s largest employers run their core HR on SAP SuccessFactors. They have the system of record; what they do not have is an agentic layer that can reason across it and act. Gloat sits on top of existing HCM systems rather than replacing them. For a SuccessFactors customer, the Galileo Inside Gloat integration delivers:
- SuccessFactors stays the system of record. Gloat reads and writes to it and leaves it in place – no migration, no re-implementation, no disruption to what platform teams already run.
- One layer for everything HR does. Employee and manager questions, the performance and compensation cycles, and succession, skills, and redeployment decisions – covered by one agentic layer that also reasons across the ATS, LMS, payroll, and planning systems around SuccessFactors.
- Permissions built for HR. A leader may see succession plans across her function but not the ones she is named in; a manager may see department skills but compensation only for direct reports. Reproducing that logic in-house carries nearly all of the risk. It is native to Loomra, with an audit trail behind every recommendation.
- Workforce context that makes the data usable. Loomra models how employees connect to roles, roles to skills, and skills to business needs, built on nearly a decade of enterprise workforce data – so agents can reason about who could move into AI engineering roles this year, not just retrieve a list of who knows Python.
- Consultant-grade judgment, on demand. Every recommendation is grounded in Bersin best practice and benchmarks from thousands of organizations, and stays current as the research evolves.
- Adoption in the flow of work. Employees and managers reach Gloat agents from the tools they already use, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Chat and Gemini. Because Gloat already offers these integrations, a SuccessFactors customer running Gloat can put Galileo powered agents to work in weeks.
“Every HR leader I meet has a shelf full of frameworks and a system that stores records. Neither one moves the workforce,” said Ben Reuveni, CEO and Co-Founder of Gloat. “Putting Galileo inside our platform closes that gap. The agent knows what world-class looks like, it knows your people, and it acts – whether that is answering a manager’s question in the middle of a review or building a succession plan. For enterprises running SuccessFactors, this is the fastest route to a real agentic layer on the HCM they already own.”
“HR spent two decades buying systems of record. The next decade belongs to AI systems of action,” said Josh Bersin, Founder and CEO of The Josh Bersin Company. “Our research guides organizations on what to do and why those strategies matter to their people. Gloat AI agents can actually do it. By starting with SuccessFactors customers, Gloat helps teams operationalize some of the richest workforce data in the enterprise.”
