Premier Palm Beach County private club launches phased improvement program designed to enhance member experience while maintaining uninterrupted operations
WEST PALM BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, August 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — WEST PALM BEACH, FL (August 19, 2026) – Hedrick Brothers Construction, a full-service construction management, general contracting and design-build firm serving clients throughout Florida, has officially broken ground on a comprehensive, multi-year campus improvement program at The Club at Ibis, one of Palm Beach County’s premier private club communities. The project officially commenced on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, with preconstruction and site activities now underway.
Selected as Construction Manager at Risk, Hedrick Brothers Construction will oversee a carefully phased transformation designed to elevate the club’s world-class amenities while allowing members to continue enjoying uninterrupted access throughout construction.
The multi-phase program includes significant renovations and new construction across the campus, beginning with luxury interior renovations to the Main Clubhouse. Future phases will include upgrades to the North and South Campus, featuring renovations to the main racquet facilities, including new pickleball and padel courts, construction of a new luxurious spa building, creation of a new Member Activity Center within the former Property Owners Association building, new bocce and basketball courts, a complete renovation and expansion of the Fitness Center and the addition of a new, casual restaurant complemented with comfortable outdoor seating.
“This project reflects exactly the type of complex, high-end work our team is built to deliver,” said Burk Hedrick, Chief Operating Officer of Hedrick Brothers Construction. “The Club at Ibis is recognized for delivering an exceptional member experience, and our responsibility is to enhance that experience while maintaining the seamless daily operations members expect. Our team’s expertise in occupied campus construction, careful planning, and logistical coordination allows us to execute improvements with minimal disruption while delivering the highest level of craftsmanship.”
The selection reinforces Hedrick Brothers Construction’s continued growth throughout Palm Beach County, where the company has built a reputation for delivering complex renovations within active luxury club communities. The firm’s extensive network of local trade partners and proven experience at premier private clubs, including BallenIsles Country Club and Old Palm Golf Club, positioned Hedrick Brothers to lead this highly specialized assignment.
That experience continues to earn national recognition. Earlier this year, BallenIsles Country Club received Second Place for Amenity of the Year (Multiple Amenities) in the 2026 Golf Inc. Awards, recognizing excellence in private club design and member experience. The award follows another national honor earned by a Hedrick Brothers project when the Old Palm Clubhouse Renovation was named 2024 Golf Inc. Clubhouse of the Year, further demonstrating the firm’s leadership in delivering award-winning private club environments.
“The Club at Ibis has always been committed to providing an exceptional experience for our members, and selecting the right partner to help bring the next evolution of our project to life was incredibly important,” said Sharon Meirav, General Manager and COO of The Club at Ibis. “We chose Hedrick Brothers because of their clear understanding of what it takes to successfully execute a project of this scale, while maintaining an active club environment. We look forward to working together to create spaces and amenities that will serve our members for many years to come.”
Construction will be executed through a strategic, multi-year phasing plan that prioritizes member safety, operational continuity, and meticulous coordination throughout every stage of the project.
Project leadership includes Executive Oversight by Bob Cashin, Project Manager and primary club liaison David Rawdon, Lead Superintendents Brad Harrison and Eric Hudson, with preconstruction led by Chief Estimator Ryan Hutchins.
“This project represents another important milestone for Hedrick Brothers Construction as we continue expanding our portfolio of premier hospitality and luxury community projects throughout South Florida,” added Hedrick. “We’re honored by the trust The Club at Ibis has placed in our team and look forward to delivering improvements that will serve members for generations.”
