SALT LAKE CITY, UT, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Just days after launching WashieHome on Kickstarter, Washie has already surpassed 600% of its funding goal for the first consumer toilet seat with built-in technology designed to help clean both the bowl and the seat.
The campaign has raised more than $61,000 against an initial $10,000 goal, with 15 days still remaining. The early response gives WashieHome strong momentum as the company expands from its established commercial restroom business into the consumer market.
“We spent years hearing people tell us they wanted Washie in their homes, but seeing that demand turn into this kind of response so quickly has been incredible,” said Rob Poleki, founder and CEO of Washie. “Surpassing our goal was exciting, but seeing how strongly people are responding to the idea of bringing Washie into their own bathrooms has been even more meaningful.”
WashieHome turns a bathroom fixture that has traditionally needed cleaning into one that helps do the cleaning. With the push of a button, it sprays a neutral-pH solution into the bowl to help reduce residue and odors. A separate touch-free system dispenses foam onto the seat for a quick wipe when needed, helping households stay ahead of everyday bathroom messes.
The campaign has also been selected as a Kickstarter “Project We Love,” a designation given to the most compelling projects highlighted by the platform.
The consumer product builds on Washie’s patented commercial technology, which has already been used more than 5 million times in airports, gas stations, convention centers, and other public restrooms across the United States. Washie’s technology is protected by four utility patents.
The home version is designed for simple residential use, installing in about five minutes without a plumber and requiring no electrical outlet. It uses rechargeable batteries and also includes a built-in nightlight, soft-close lid, and replaceable cleaning cartridges.
WashieHome is entering the final stretch of its Kickstarter campaign with its original funding goal already far surpassed and strong momentum continuing. The campaign remains open through November 3, with limited launch pricing available and deliveries planned for early 2027.
