FIRST-LOOK FEATURE
NEW YORK, Sept. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — 7MAGIC announced the upcoming launch of SonicPod Go, a cordless 48kHz ultrasonic cleaner developed for everyday care of retainers, clear aligners, dentures, night guards and mouth guards. The product is designed for use at home, in small living spaces and while traveling, with a rechargeable USB-C system that allows operation without a permanent power connection.
The 7MAGIC SonicPod Go takes a different approach. It is a rechargeable cordless ultrasonic cleaner designed around retainers, aligners, dentures, guards and selected dental tools.
Cordless design for everyday mobility
SonicPod Go uses two 2000mAh batteries and charges through USB-C. Internal testing indicates up to approximately 14 uses per full charge in the five-minute mode, with actual results varying according to usage conditions.
This matters more than it might appear. Bathrooms frequently have limited outlets, and travelers do not always want another device competing for a charger. The ability to charge the cleaner separately and run it without a cable means it can sit where it is most convenient rather than where the outlet happens to be.
It also makes the product more suitable for a dormitory, office, guest bathroom, gym bag or hotel room.

Compact 200ml tank for oral appliances
The tank holds 200ml, with an inner diameter of approximately 3.1 inches and a maximum water level of about 1.2 inches. That capacity is intended for oral appliances rather than large jewelry collections or industrial parts.
The focused size keeps the footprint manageable, while the included drain basket and tweezers help with smaller items. A cleaning brush and cloth are provided for maintaining the device, and a storage bag keeps the kit together during travel.

IPX5 water resistance with realistic limitations
SonicPod Go carries an IPX5 rating. The device uses a sealed internal structure, a protected front button and a covered charging port to handle ordinary splashes during filling and pouring.
IPX5 is not the same as waterproof. Users should not place the device under water or submerge it in a sink. The tank should be emptied carefully, and the exterior should be wiped rather than soaked.
Four one-touch cleaning modes
The interface is built around one button and a digital countdown. The four modes are:
Quick Clean: five minutes, ultrasonic plus UV-C.
Deep Clean: ten minutes, ultrasonic plus UV-C.
Clean Only: ten minutes, ultrasonic only.
UV Only: ten minutes, UV-C only.
There is no phone app and no pairing process. For a device designed to run for five or ten minutes, that simplicity is a strength rather than an omission.

48kHz ultrasonic cleaning
The ultrasonic system operates at 48kHz. High-frequency sound waves create microscopic bubbles in the water, helping loosen residue around grooves, edges and narrow contours.
Users should still follow the care instructions for the specific appliance. Ultrasonic cleaning is not a universal guarantee of compatibility, and damaged or unusually delicate items may require a different approach.
254nm UV-C and safety shutoff
The lid integrates four 254nm UV-C lights and an automatic shutoff when opened. Product materials reference an SGS test result, but any public percentage claim should be checked against the complete report before publication.
From a product-design perspective, the separate UV Only mode is useful because it gives users control. The product does not force UV-C into every cycle.
Low-noise operation for daily routines
7MAGIC states an operating noise below 42dB under loaded conditions with the lid closed. That is positioned between a soft whisper and ordinary conversation in the company’s marketing comparison.
Users will still hear the ultrasonic process. The more important point is whether the sound is suitable for an evening routine in a shared apartment or a morning cycle in a hotel room. On paper, the stated target is appropriate for those environments.
Complete accessory set included
SonicPod Go cleaner
USB-C cable
Cleaning brush
Tweezers
Drain basket
User manual
Cleaning cloth
Storage bag
Six cleaning tablets
The package is more complete than a machine-only offer. The storage bag reinforces the travel story, while the brush and cloth address the common oversight of cleaning the cleaner itself.

Designed for everyday oral-appliance users
SonicPod Go makes the most sense for people who wear a retainer, clear aligner, night guard, mouth guard or removable denture and want a defined routine that does not depend on a permanent outlet.
It is also relevant to travelers, students, people living in small spaces and users who prefer water-based ultrasonic cleaning as the foundation of the routine.
Availability / Launch Information
The SonicPod Go concept is strongest when viewed as a portable personal-care appliance rather than a miniature industrial cleaner. Its 48kHz system, four modes, USB-C charging, battery capacity, IPX5 construction and complete accessory set are all organized around one promise: make the routine easier to repeat.
A full review would require hands-on testing across multiple appliances and repeated battery cycles. As a first look, however, the product presents a clear use case and a design logic that is easy to understand.
