Babylon Dental Care Welcomes Deanna Saccente, RDH

Deanna earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Farmingdale State College in 2020 and is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. A Long Island native, she was drawn to dental hygiene after positive experiences with dental care and a longstanding interest in healthcare.

Deanna is passionate about helping patients feel more comfortable and confident in the dental setting, particularly those who may experience dental anxiety. Her approach focuses on creating a gentle, thorough, and educational experience by taking time to explain each step of care, answer questions, and help patients understand how they can better care for their smiles between visits.

“I want every patient to feel comfortable, heard, and informed throughout their visit,” said Deanna. “Taking the time to explain what I’m doing and why helps build trust and can make a real difference for patients who may feel anxious about dental care. Deanna has a particular interest in fluoride treatments and the role they can play in supporting patients’ oral health, including those experiencing sensitivity. She also emphasizes the connection between oral health and overall well-being and is committed to continuing her education as she grows within the profession.

Deanna said she was drawn to Babylon Dental Care because she has been familiar with the practice for years and has friends and family who have received care there. She was also excited by the opportunity to expand her clinical skills and provide a more comprehensive approach to dental hygiene.
