Admiral Insurance Group®, a Berkley Company providing wholesale-dedicated excess and surplus (E&S) lines commercial insurance, has announced the relaunch of AdmiralPro Excess™, their Excess Professional Liability product, which has been redesigned to address increasingly complex risks.

As Professional Liability exposures continue to evolve with the increase in both frequency and severity of losses, businesses require flexible excess coverage solutions that can adapt to layered programs, multiple lines of business, and complex underlying policy structures.

Developed with Admiral’s wholesale brokers in mind, AdmiralPro Excess delivers the flexibility to support today’s evolving professional liability landscape.

Key enhancements include:

  • Follow-form coverage across multiple underlying policies and carriers, including the ability to provide Excess coverage over Professional Liability and Casualty combination policies, where Casualty is written on either an occurrence or claims-made basis.

  • Fully redesigned policy form and endorsement that streamline coverage terms, which can be tailored to the unique coverage needs of each risk.

  • Redesigned quote letters, binder letters, declarations pages, and schedules of underlying insurance that provide a clearer outline of coverages, limits, and policy terms.

“As a wholesale-only market, our brokers are at the center of everything we do,” said Nir Gabay, Senior Vice President of Professional Liability Underwriting. “We’re focused on continuously evolving our solutions and our underwriting approach so our appointed brokers have what they need to write more business and more importantly, deliver the right coverage to their clients. AdmiralPro Excess reflects that focus; it’s a new and improved approach built to support brokers and the insureds they serve.”
