TransGrid Energy LLC (TransGrid), an energy infrastructure company developing, owning and operating utility-scale generation and storage assets, today announced the market introduction of EnergyFluoTM, its agentic AI energy management system (EMS), expanding the company’s capabilities to help data centers and other large-load customers not only access the power they need, but optimize how that power is used.
As energy demand from data centers and other large-load customers outpaces traditional grid infrastructure, customers face three increasingly interconnected challenges: securing power quickly, accessing power where they need it (rather than only where the existing grid has capacity), and optimizing available power to reduce costs and monetize excess capacity. TransGrid has traditionally addressed the first two challenges by developing and operating utility-scale power generation and battery storage projects. EnergyFluo adds an intelligent software layer designed to help address the third while also creating greater flexibility across the energy system. By intelligently optimizing energy use, EnergyFluo can enable data centers to operate as flexible grid resources, helping unlock additional capacity for critical IT load, alleviate grid constraints and potentially support faster interconnection while maintaining operational reliability and uptime.

From Energy Infrastructure to Intelligent Energy Management
EnergyFluo uses an agentic AI layer to continuously analyze on-site operating data and identify opportunities to optimize energy use. The system can recommend actions based on changing operating conditions and, with operator approval, execute those actions according to a facility’s standard operating procedures (SOPs), which are ingested into the platform and translated into code that guides execution.
For example, the system could identify an opportunity to reduce or shut down a chiller ahead of a cold-weather event, present the recommendation to the operator and, once approved, execute the action according to established operating procedures.
Unlike systems that simply identify potential efficiencies, EnergyFluo is designed to move from recommendation to execution while accounting for the mechanical limits of equipment through physics-informed models. The system is vendor- and asset-agnostic and can manage energy resources across individual facilities or at the fleet level, enabling operators to manage multiple sites through a unified system.
