Graphene & Solar Technologies Limited (OTCQB:GSTX)
PHOENIX, AZ, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Graphene & Solar Technologies Limited (OTC:GSTX) (“GSTX”), operating globally under the Quartz & Silicon Materials (“QSM”) Group brand, announced that QSM Group will present at the inaugural Solar Manufacturing USA 2026 Conference to be held September 22-23 in Austin, Texas. Jason May, executive chairman and CEO of GSTX and QSM Group, will provide an overview of the company’s California-based silicon wafer manufacturing ramp-up and technology roadmap.
“Wafer-slicing capacity is recognized as a major bottleneck in the upstream part of the silicon-based value-chain in the United States,” said Finlay Colville, founder of Terawatt PV Research and conference co-host along with pv magazine USA. “Graphene & Solar Technologies is one of the few companies advancing new wafer manufacturing plans in the country – a topic that will form one of the highlights at the upcoming event.”
“This new conference arrives at a pivotal time for the U.S. solar manufacturing sector,” said May. “Recent federal trade measures involving polysilicon and derivative solar products underscore the national priority of strengthening domestic supply chains, while rapid growth in U.S. module manufacturing is sharpening the industry’s emphasis on execution, reliability, and sustained competitiveness.”
According to SEIA, the Solar Energy Industries Association, U.S. module manufacturing capacity grew more than 50 percent in 2025, with 65.5 GW of capacity online, up from 42.5 GW at the end of 2024. May noted that the U.S. industry is now working to convert this expanded footprint into reliable production and bankable domestic supply chains.
Solar Manufacturing USA 2026 is focused on the next phase of domestic U.S. solar manufacturing, including factory execution, equipment, materials, process flows, technology selection, operating economics, and long-term manufacturing strategy. The two-day program is expected to bring together manufacturers, equipment and materials suppliers, buyers, investors, R&D institutions, and other participants from across the U.S. solar manufacturing value chain.
“We look forward to sharing GSTX’s progress and advancing productive discussions with customers, investors, and partners,” May concluded. In addition to May’s presentation, members of the company’s management team will be available for one-on-one meetings throughout the conference.
